Lens Technology The Method Seven Duchess FX2 lens is the result of years of dedicated research, developed in collaboration with the world’s leading LED light manufacturers and engineers. It’s the biggest innovation in growing since LED lights.The FX2 lens provides precise filtering of the LED spectrum, reducing spikes in the 660nm to 700nm and 385nm to 440nm ranges. It offers complete UV protection, blocking increased UV from newer LED fixtures with chips below 400nm. Also able to eliminate spots and floaters that many people experience when working under LED lights, ensuring clear vision. Brightness is perfectly reduced, allowing you to see above or below your canopy without ever removing your glasses, regardless of LED settings. Frame Technology The Method Seven Duchess FX2 frames are designed in California and made in Italy with thermo-injected TR90 polymers. These materials can withstand the heat and professional rigors of the home basement grow or the biggest commercial facilities. Grow rooms have lots of light, but it’s not broad-spectrum. Though this might be great for plants, it’s not so great for your eyes. Human eyes contain rods and cones, which need broad-spectrum light in order to perform their functions. These functions include things like focus, recognise shapes, register movement, and see colour. In a grow room environment, sunglasses make things worse by darkening all the light. You might squint less, but you still can’t see colour, and it’s even more difficult to focus.
