With a choice to personalise to order with a polished jeweller’s brass plaque with 2 screws which will be mounted for you. Designed and made by me in Shropshire and not mass produced; each of my gavels is slightly different and unique, high quality, beautifully and lovingly finished with beeswax polish so the natural colour of the wood can speak for itself. Designed for use as well as decorative as are all my gavels. An ideal gift for anyone who loves the unique richness and quality of the grain and colours of natural finely crafted wooden items. Size Overall size of the Hammer is approx 267 mm or just approx. 10 and a half inches in length end to end. The generous striking block or base is solid and substantial, a beautifully generous piece of cherry with a black wool baize backing on the base. The base is approx 125 mm or 4 and 7/8th inches long Dispatch All items are carefully packaged to ensure they reach you safely and have labels and care instructions, dispatched first class post or courier, ideal for any gift. Overseas customers are responsible for paying any duty where applicable. Care Best kept out of direct heat and sunlight. Dust and polish wood occasionally with beeswax to be rewarded with a deep shine. All natural woods enrich and darken with age.
